The practice also has Health Trainer who sees patients by appointments. The health trainer works with patients over the age of 40 years who are interested in making lifestyle changes and preventing future ill health.
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
We employ several receptionists who are responsible for booking appointments, dealing with patients enquires, filing of medical records and many other clerical duties. They work alongside our secretarial and computer staffs who deal with referrals and correspondence from the hospitals, data input and audit alongside other duties.
Mental Health Practitioner - Psychological wellbeing practitioners are trained to assess and support people with common mental health problems, principally anxiety disorders and depression - in the self-management of their recovery.
